Herztick is an upcoming handheld device that blends the precision of a signal generator with the playful interface of a gaming console. It’s still in the early stages of development — features, components, and design may change — but the vision is clear: a fun and capable pocket tool for experiments, sound, and play.
Think of it as a lab instrument you can hold like a game controller — intuitive, portable, and open for both serious measurements and creative exploration.
Herztick adopts a controller-sized layout — a form perfected through decades of design. It fits naturally in the hands, with just the right number of buttons and controls: enough for rich interaction, never cluttered. This familiar shape makes it easy to explore signals, navigate menus, or even play simple games.
Inside, Herztick combines a low-power STM32L431 microcontroller with a precise Si5351 clock generator for flexible frequency outputs. A 320×240 color display provides clear visual feedback, while SD-card storage lets you save waveforms, settings, apps and games. Power is handled by a USB-C rechargeable system, using a Li-Ion and Li-Polymer charger with power path and an ultra-low-noise LDO, ensuring stable operation and clean power for signal generation.
Designed for mobility, Herztick can run independently with its built-in battery, charge via USB-C, and deliver quiet, low-noise performance suitable for sensitive audio and measurement tasks. It’s built to move effortlessly between your desk, studio, and field setups.
Like all Noise Sculptors devices, Herztick is built with experimentation in mind. The design is a living project — features and layout may change as it grows. What won’t change is the vision: a cool handheld tool that’s open, fun, and invites you to shape it into something uniquely yours.
* Prototype stage: specifications, features, and design are subject to change.
Stay tuned — Herztick is coming soon.
